So delicious! I did find it a little too tart, so I halved the amount of lemon juice. My kids love it, too! Bright, citrusy flavors and some good greens to start your day. Fresh ginger brings that spicy ginger flavor. I like to use a small piece of peeled, fresh ginger roughly equivalent to 1 teaspoon. Feel free to add less or more depending on your taste. Frozen mango chunks make up the bulk of the smoothie.

Frozen peach slices also make up this smoothie. Feel free to use whole or shredded kale, fresh or frozen. Lemon juice adds a bright citrus flavor and replaces the lemonade from the original Jamba Juice smoothie.

If you like a more sour taste, feel free to add the juice of one whole lemon. Agave is added to bring sweetness to the smoothie. In leu of lemonade, I add the agave and lemon juice, along with plant-based milk.

Delicious as usual. It is so nice! I have made it in a few different ways thanks to poor planning. Mango instead of pineapple has worked in the past although pineapple is ideal! as well as all Kale if we are out of spinach with no problems, we usually use some fresh ground flax or chia seeds as one of the recommended options and everyone drinks it up happily- except our baby for some reason.

Thanks for the inspiration. i changed the recipe a little. i go for a big handful of spinach, juice of half a lime, a good thumb of ginger, ice, a little plain yoghurt and a quarter cup of green tea.

tastes great and must be good for you. i occasionally add some fresh parsley or fresh mint if i have some. Added frozen peaches,it was refreshing,i have enough for one more tomorrow!! Sounds pretty delicious to me!

OMG — I about died! I LOVE GINGER so I want to try this. I make green smoothies all the time with spinach and mango but never thought to add ginger. Definitely need to try that next time. I love ginger!
